Shocktober 2024: 31 Nights Of Frights

Once again, September has come and gone, again. Just like that. In fact, another year has passed, just like that. And here we are again, ready for another Halloween Horror Movie fest.

So just as I’ve been doing since 2019, here is this month’s list of movies I’m offering up for you to give a look-see if you don’t have any planned. Most of these I’ve seen and some I plan to catch, as they are being released in theaters or for streaming this month. And while I don’t claim that all or any of these are masterpieces, some, if not many, will be well worth your time and attention.

Now for you newcomers, you’ll wonder why you don’t see some of the well-known flicks on this list. Just know that I’ve been doing this for 5 years now and, if you’re looking for some of the cult classics and Hollywood blockbusters, you can find them in my posts from previous years. Click any of these links to read them: 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

One thing, though. This year is a little bit different. Instead of my traditional mixture of films from over the years, this list is comprised primarily of releases from this year alone (and maybe one or two from 2023 that didn’t make the last list). And of course, the grand finale.

So, let’s get to it, shall we?
