If you didn’t need sleep, what would you do with all the extra time?
These days, the older I get, the more I want to see and do. No, I’m not having a mid-life crisis. I’m just learning to appreciate so much more in the world around me, and I want to experience it to the fullest.
The problem with that is I still work for a living and the last I checked, we were still limited to 24 hours in a day.
And amidst these projects, there is so much I want to say about life, love, and laughter, in print.
Yes, writing has become more of a passion and the more I do it, the more I try to perfect it.

But there is only so much time.
I can only imagine how much I could get accomplished if I had an additional 6 hours at the keyboard every night. I say 6 because I’d also take advantage of the extra exercise time. And with that, comes the need to wash up and catch my breath (maybe freshen it, as well).
I would blog daily, do more research, read more books, write the books that are trying to get out of my head, and maybe even take a few more online courses.
I’m sure many would use that time to work another job, and that is an option for me as well. But if I did, it would have to be a work-from-home opportunity.
So yes, if sleep/rest were a non-issue, I’d be investing in a new keyboard because this one would be smokin’ from all that clickin’ and clackin’!
But that is where I would make the right, or should I say, “write” use of my time.

What do you think? How would you take advantage of a day without the need for sleep?
