Happy Thanksgiving From ZootsBlogSpot!

It’s Thanksgiving, a time to be thankful for all of the wonderful things we have in this life. I wanted to celebrate this day by creating a Thanksgiving mix, but sadly, I don’t have the time. I was going to repost the old mix from 2019, but my hard drive crashed and it is gone, gone, gone.

But that’s ok, there will be a Christmas mix repost in just a few days.

Just know that we have a lot to be thankful for, beginning with life. I know some will think that life might have dealt them some ugly cards, but remember that we do HAVE life, and there is a way to a solution in almost all cases. Just stay the course and be strong. Know when to ask for help and know when to move on…

If you believe in God, pray to Him for patience, guidance and understanding. I firmly believe in my savior and know that He is with me through thick and thin. The hard part is remembering that in addition to asking, I need to be THANKING.

Which is why I’m taking this brief moment to thank Him for all that He has done for me: Giving me life, a family, friends, a home, a career and recently, a beautiful granddaughter and, be it His will, a grandson in just a few weeks.

I would also like to thank you all for your kindness and support over these past years. Whether you’re a longtime follower on my mailing list, someone who logs in from time to time when the blog subject is pertinent or just someone who stumbled upon my hangout spot. I appreciate you, for every moment you spend reading, liking, sharing and commenting on the content.

Take this time to reach out and tell the people in your life how much you love them and appreciate them. Not just today, but all days.

Again, if you celebrate it, Happy Thanksgiving. To all the rest, Happy Life, one more day…

Be safe and I’ll see you soon. And save me some of that food!

  1. I was counting my blessings this week too my brother, I’m enjoying my food this time because I don’t know what the next year will bring, with the new dictatorship coming into power.

    I don’t mind telling you I’m scared.

I’ll put my faith in God as I was raised to do, now more than ever!!!

    God bless my brother.

  2. You know, it’s a sad day when we have to live in fear of the days ahead. No administration has ever made me feel that way in my life.

So yes, enjoy the blessings of the day. Whoever you are, thank you for your kindness and honesty. I appreciate you and thanks for reading.
