What cities do you want to visit?
The places I’d like to visit are Las Vegas; Athens, Greece; Florence, Italy; and Cancun, Mexico. All of the other U.S. cities have been checked off of my bucket list.
Paris, France is not on that list because I performed there in 1989.

I would only like to return to take my wife because she’s never been.
I would like to revisit San Antonio, New Mexico; Albuquerque, New Mexico; New York, New York; San Antonio, Texas; and New Orleans, Louisiana because my wife has never been to these places either. I was fortunate enough to go, traveling for my job.
There are four places in Africa that I want to visit more than anything, thanks to Ancestry DNA and learning about my countries of origin.
First on my list is Accra, Ghana.

Second is Yaonde, Cameroon.

I would also consider moving to either one of them. The only (and I mean, ONLY) reason I wouldn’t do it now is because my wife does not share the same interest, and I just had my second grandson, less than two weeks ago. Otherwise, I would seriously consider it.
I think it would be fascinating to live in a country where racism is not a factor. I remember someone from Africa once telling me online, “You wouldn’t be ‘Black’ here. We have no Black men. They’re all just men.”

Anyway, I would also love to visit Abuja, Nigeria and Kampala, Uganda, to round out my list.

Let’s see what happens in the coming years. In the meantime, anyone wanting to contribute to my CashApp account, my ID is… (lol)

I love that statement. “There are no ‘Black men’ here.” I would also love to experience a country surrounded by people who look like me. I’ve never visited Accra, but my siblings are half Ghanaian. My mom says it’s a beautiful country.

I hope so too. Right now, just enjoying my two grandbeauties.
If nothing else, Ghana is an absolute must!
Thanks for reading, Deanne!

You know, I never once thought of that phrase/concept until it was put that way. I don’t necessarily want to only be “with my own people”, I love everyone. Still, it would be nice to experience life without having to worry about hate crimes and the like.
Tell you what. When you go, I’ll meet you there! LOL
Thanks for reading!

I just read your introductory blog on your page. Very warming and beautiful.
If you’re part of Blue Sky you’re welcome to join the gang. I’m @Zoot580 over there, like I am on everything else. And yes, I’m just as crazy.
No, wait. I’m worse! LOL

Aw thanks, I really appreciate that!! I haven’t made it to Blue Sky yet but I’ve been meaning to see what’s up over there- I’ll take this as my cue! If they allow crazy people on there then I’d be right at home. LOL

It’s what Twitter USED to be, before the idiots ran muck. You’ll find family there. I’m enjoying it immensely. I may even blog about it.
Don’t forget to look me up! Currently, I’m using “angry Samuel Jackson” as Santa Clause as my profile picture. LOL
