If you know me, you know I love my Christmas music. In addition to those classics (Burl Ives, Nat King Cole, Perry Como, Dean Martin, etc) I especially love R&B interpretations from popular artists such as Luther, Boyz II Men, Toni Braxton and countless others. In another day or so, I’ll post the story behind my family’s Christmas morning (actually all season) music tradition and how it became so popular among my family and friends.
“But Kenny, where can I go to listen to the list you post every year on Facebook?”
I’m glad you asked! Just do the following:
1. “Like” this post.
2. Follow my blog (non-Wordpress members go to my homepage and enter your email address at the bottom) and;
3. Tell me the greatest Christmas gift you ever received (in the comments section below).
Then, look for the link to be posted on December 15 (of course, if you’re following me you’ll see it anyway).
Five lucky winners will receive access to download their own copy of the playlist.
It’s that simple! Nothing else need be said. Get to it!
See ya!
The greatest Christmas gift I ever received was definitely my Farrah Fawcett styling head! I was 9 years old and that was all I wanted. It was to me what Raphie’s Red Ryder rifle from A Christmas Story was to him. It was all I thought about from the time I wrote to Santa about it. Just like the unnamed boy in The Polar Express, I was starting to question Santa’s authenticity around that time, but getting that doll – considering my family’s situation at the time – made me a forever believer. I washed, set and styled her hair until every strand fell out. lol

One of My Greatest Gift was being able to fly out of the country for the first time on Christmas Evening on a Delta One Aircraft. I was treated better than regular 1st Class. Delta One Class makes 1st Class feel like Coach. I had a private suite with reclining bed with a real pillow and down comforter, served 5 course gourmet meals with a prestigious beverage, with hot towels before and after. I really felt like a Queen Diva! #parentperks4life

Thanks for reading and sharing. The contest is over, but I’ll be sure to get you some music anyway because you’re just joining in the party. Thanks for reading and sharing!
