Zoot’s Blog Spot Turns 3 Today!

Oh, how time flies when you’re not keeping track.

I was making chorizo y huevos (pork sausage mixed with scrambled eggs on tortillas) this morning when I saw a little notification on my WordPress app. Usually, it’s an indication that I have a new follower, or a comment has been posted.

Imagine my surprise when I read that today marks three years since I started this blog!

That’s right! Kenny’s Camera, Cooking & Confessions is 3 today!

Technically, my first blog was written on a different platform on December 31, 2018, but I found a new and better home here on WordPress.

But it doesn’t matter who hosts it, it’s who reads it. You all are what’s important and the reason why I continue to write.

Some of you are here for certain topics, but I cover just about everything. Like recipes, listicles (Top 10 lists), photojournals, sports talk, African American awareness, practical joke snafus, family memories, high school & college shenanigans, movie/music reviews, church tales, retail adventures, dating nightmares and so forth and so on…

Some of you have even told me how amazed they are that I keep coming up with crazy topics, thinking I’ll run out of ideas at some point.

Naaaah. I remember too much from my past in great detail. What’s weird is that despite my ready recollection of experiences long gone by, my short-term memory is a mess. Go figure. I guess it’s true when they say we lose old memories to make way for new ones. Problem is, I can’t and won’t clean out the old attic that is my brain.

And I consider my stories to be like recipes. Probably why I’m so eager to share them before I die and take them with me.

That’s why I’m thankful as always to know that so many of you take time out of your precious day to see what else comes from my rabid mind. And you know I’m open to topics you suggest, as long as I have some clue about them.

I know I’ve thanked you all during milestone events before, like for New Year’s Day and Blog #s 100, 200, 250 and 300. But hey, I’d like to thank you once again.

Because I appreciate you all so much for supporting me by reading, commenting, sharing and your love.
