What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?
If my blog could spark even a single moment of understanding, laughter, healing, or reflection in someone’s day, then I’ve done my job.
I don’t write for algorithms—I write for people. Real ones. The ones who carry old scars and new dreams, who’ve laughed until they cried, and who’ve cried until they laughed again.
I want my words to feel like home for some, and a wake-up call for others.
For example, I want to preserve culture, challenge ignorance, honor those who came before me, and offer truth—even when it’s uncomfortable. I want to celebrate Black joy, expose the roots of injustice, share memories that matter, and stir up conversations we’re too afraid to have at the dinner table.
But whether I’m talking about childhood memories, photography, recipes, movie reviews, comedic listicles, church lessons, dating mishaps, or the echo of slavery still ringing in today’s policies—my blog is my legacy.
The change I want to make is simple:
I want us to see each other. To value each other. To remember what came before… and to leave something better behind.

Thanks so much for reading.
