Forever Mine, Valentine

Greetings and Happy Valentine’s Day! I pray you’re enjoying the day with someone special and if not, I hope you’re letting that crush know how you feel (or they’re telling YOU).

If you read my post “Blog #100: Something To Say”, you might remember that I promised to boost my blog frequency as well as its content. One such addition would be songs and poetry. Well, today is a two-fer, meaning I’m blogging twice with posts from the heart (pun intended). 12 hours ago, I posted a little advice on something you need to remember to help keep your relationship strong called “We Need Love, But What Does Love Need?” Definitely check that out, if you haven’t.

And now, I’d like to share a song I wrote my freshman year at Florida A&M University. I serenaded someone with it outside of their dorm with the help of a friend on classical guitar. As you know, folks didn’t run around with video recorders back in the day and the only phones we used had cords (you had to wait in line in the hallway to use them), so sadly, it was never recorded and I never performed this song again (didn’t need to). *wicked giggle*
