The Moore Chante Show – Ep. 2/21/2021

In 3, 2, 1, rolling!

When we last left off, our girl was days shy of her 29th Birthday!!! 29, or is it 30? Well, if it ain’t, she definitely looks it. Anyway, if you haven’t wished her a Happy Birthday by now, do the belated thing, because she surely deserves it. And like she wishes, she gets flowers while she’s here!

This week’s episode comes straight out of her COVID-UNfriendly hotel room (designed to keep you safe, just not so comfy) in Atlanta, where she’s doing the quarantine thang…

And to those of you who wonder how she keeps her sound so deliciously smooth, Chante uses Soothing Throat Spray (warning: use of this product will NOT make you sound like Chante Moore – however, it might keep you from talking like Weezie from The Jeffersons.).

She also shared her performance warm-up routine for you songbirds out there.

And now, back to our show.

Announcement – Chante will be appearing on the show “First Wives Club”, featuring Jill Scott and we can’t wait! There will also be some collaborative projects, but that’s all we’re gonna know, for now…

She took time to acknowledge some of the greetings from the viewers (I’m sure each person freaked out as they heard their name being called. Ain’t nothin’ like that direct love, so keep posting during her show – you never know when she’s gonna be lookin’ at the Holla Screen).

And she allowed for a few song requests!

What astonishes me is when people log on midway through the show and request songs she’s already sung. This week, there were at least two. Folks, if you’re late for pot luck, don’t ask for food we already ate. Be heyah on time before da pastah prays!

She noted that she has some things to do this week, so she couldn’t sing as long as she wanted to. We understand, girl. We do.

During her mentions she did state that her upcoming album is mostly done. They’re in the tweak stages, so look forward to yet another perfect output. I’m sorry. That should be another announcement.

Announcement: The new CD/Album is almost done!!! Yaaaaay!

She talked about the fun she had at Backstage Atlanta on Valentine’s Day and gave love to everyone who came out and supported her, making the night a success. And as she happily recalled, a success it truly was…

She spent the remainder of the show addressing more messages and answering questions.

During the live Q&A, she reiterated that as much as she’d love to have Grammy awards lining her shelves, she places tremendous value in the personal testimonies of her fans and loved ones as a result of her music. In that respect, each encounter with a grateful fan is a Grammy in itself.

Chante’s ChanTunes

  • “Something To Remember” by Chante Moore
  • “Candlelight & You” (acapella) by Chante Moore
  • “Inside My Love” (acapella snippet) by Minnie Riperton
  • “I’m What You Need” by Chante Moore
  • “My Special Perfect One” (acapella snippet) by Chante Moore
  • “It’s Alright” by Chante Moore
  • “Love’s Taken Over” (acapella) by Chante Moore

And that’s all for this week. She dedicated the majority of the episode interacting with fans, which is a good thing. It was a pleasant reminder that she puts us first in all that she does. I consider that an added and immense treasure because anyone can do it – but it’s OUR girl who actually is.

And that is what keeps us coming back for Moore…

…and Moore…

…and Moore.

Until next time, remember that Sunday Is Chantday!
