Babyface Music Mix (The Ballads)

While driving up north Columbus today, I decided to turn off my music playlist and listen to a little radio. That’s when I stumbled upon one of my favorite Babyface ballads and started singing along. As the song ended, it faded into another classic Babyface sing-a-long that made me pause. Ok, either this is a random Babyface mix or it’s his birthday.

It was the latter.

I had been planning to make and post a Babyface mix for some time now. I just never stopped to think that it would be an ideal way to help celebrate his birthday, paying tribute to the man who’s written and sung soooo many sweet love songs for himself, as well as others.

Well, I’m home and we still have a few hours left in the day, so let me share a (not-so) quick music mix of Babyface ballads (just the slow jams, folks – sorry) for you to enjoy. I’ll keep this mix up for a while, but it won’t last forever, so get your listening in sooner than later. Before you know it, I’ll be replacing it with a tribute to some other artist, group or theme.

That being said, here are 2 hours and 22 minutes (and 2 seconds) of some (well, many) of the greatest hits of Kenneth Brian “Babyface” Edmonds, who turns 62 today!
